Hackathons your school stands behind
School teams build real projects against a deadline. Every team is approved by its teacher before it competes, and every result is recorded on the students' portfolios.

How a hackathon works
Every hackathon on SolvitClubs follows the same five steps, and the school is involved at each one that matters.
- 1
A hackathon opens
Its dates, tracks, team sizes and prizes are published on the platform.
- 2
A team is nominated
Club members form a team within the size limits and put it forward from their school.
- 3
The teacher approves
The school's patron approves the team, or sends it back with a reason the team can act on.
- 4
The team builds
The team works on its project and submits it on the platform before the deadline.
- 5
Results are recorded
Placements and prizes are published and added to every member's portfolio.
Why the results can be trusted
Anyone can say they won a hackathon. Here, the school vouches for the team and the platform keeps the record.
Teams from real clubs
Only approved members of a school's club can be nominated, so every team is who it says it is.
A teacher signs off
No team competes without its school's approval. A rejected nomination comes back with the reason.
Results that last
A placement is not a certificate that gets lost. It stays on each member's portfolio next to the rest of their work.
Where to find current hackathons
Open hackathons, deadlines and results are listed inside the platform, for students and teachers of schools with a club.
Bring SolvitClubs to your school
Teachers and school representatives can claim their school today. Students sign up once their school is on the platform.
